WHO ARE WE (Scrool down here to read)
We are a non-profit, non-charitable group who are passionate about our world class Provincial Parks system and are looking for a means to assist restoring facilities and provide awareness of all protected Park values.  Our focus is Garibaldi Provincial Park, British Columbia
since our resources are limited and the need is urgent.  Time is taking its toll on the fragile meadows.   While realizing that natural evolution stems from an intact environment, the vital importance of Conservation objectives cannot be understated. When ecological integrity is protected, all ecosystems thrive.
Every effort will be made to uphold that goal.

Making a 'Stewardship Commitment' to Garibaldi Park
Friends of Garibaldi Park
We are off to a slow start this season, but hopefully the hot weather and fires will subside and allow us to have a couple work parties.  We are aiming for later this summer and early in autumn.
Revised dates are September 15, 16, and 17 for the first, and October 2, 3, and 4 for the second.

Duties include building boardwalk, trail maintenance, trail re-vegetation, invasive species control, campsite maintenance, and other related park volunteering.  Fire risk will certainly dictate tasks this year.

Thanks to graphic artist, Jobey Greenwood, we now have a logo to identify with.  We wish to thank him for his generous time and efforts designing this new and beautiful logo.  With a little luck you should see this on tee shirts and ball caps soon.
